A super nice fellow here in Huntsville gave me an RC plane transmitter, receiver, and servos. The same day I got a body for an old gas powered plane for $10. With those two things, I had a plane body that I could control all of the control surfaces with. I purchased a motor, speed control, and battery and assembled them all together. This video is the result … a frankenplane that we call “Big Bird”. Its not that big but its yellow so the name stuck.

    Looks like fun, but I believe that I will wait for you to have a little more practice before I hire you as my private pilot.
