More Pictures of the Kids
More pictures of the kids up in Heidi’s one month folder. Soon we will have a new photo gallery software and it will be easier to put pictures in both Heidi and Tru’s folders.

We just got back from the Huntsville Air Show. We got to watch trick planes doing their thing while we were in line for an hour and a half and then saw the Blue Angles up close and personal. We have pictures up here:
Next year, I’m just parking and staying near the car. The traffic was pretty intense. We were in over an hour of traffic in and an hour of traffic out. They event was terribly organized. There were no clear indications of exactly where to go. We ended up parking at least a 1/4 mile further away than we had to. They didn’t allow anyone to bring in drinks or food. When we got there, the first thing we did was look for some water or other drinks. The concession stands were on the completely opposite side. When I finally fought the crowds to get to them, the lines were about an hour long just to get drinks. Apparently the event coordinators made it so that only certain vendors could sell drinks. This made it so there were really long lines at the drink serving vendors and no line at all at the others. What a scam! I wouldn’t be surprised if we find out tonight that lots of people overheated and were sent to the hospital. First they deny people from bringing in drinks then they make it impossible to purchase anything once you are in. It really was dangerous!
I started skype’ing again and I’m looking for folks to video skype with. If you have a webcam and want to skype, let us know. Tru loves it! I’ve also had a good time getting to see the where several out of town friends live that I otherwise haven’t been able to see. Since it works on wireless laptops, I’ve been able to roam all over the house while video chatting. I just have to make sure I watch out and make sure I don’t accidentally catch Erin feeding Heidi
I know that a few family members have Mac’s. I think they have built in cameras. If you don’t have a camera, I have had really good luck with the Logitech Communicate STX which is only $37 with free shipping from newegg. It comes with a built in microphone. It also works great in Linux with a V4L and V4L2 driver.
IM or email me and I’ll give you my skype info.
I finally got some OK pictures of Tru and Heidi together. They aren’t great, photographically, but they are cute! They are in the Heidi one month folder.
Tru colored on her face today with crayola washable markers! She came to me and said, “Look, Mama! I’m pretty!” She had colored a moustache under her nose. I tried to scold her, but she looked so funny that I couldn’t hide my amusement. She ran off, and when she came back, there were even more marks on her face! At least they are washable, and at least Heidi got away unscathed! More pictures here.
Here are some pictures I took yesterday of Heidi in Tru’s bean bag. She is one month old now!

Thanks so much to everyone who took time out of their day to visit us in the hospital, give us a gift, offer to help, help around the house, post on our facebook/blog, call us, and all of the other wonderful things. I know I speak for all of this has made us all feel very loved.
Also, I have to thank two people who I don’t know who they are. When we came home from the hospital there were balloons on our mailbox. I walked in and thanked my Mom and she replied “what balloons?” I’m not sure who left them, but thanks! Also, when I got back to my office, there was a present that had stuff inside for Heidi, Tru, and Erin. Unfortunately, there was no “From” so I cannot thank that mystery person either.
Again, thanks to everyone.
