New Software

January 18th, 2009

Well, we’ve finally migrated completely off our own software. We just can’t compete with the likes of Google and WordPress, so we’re joining the masses. WordPress gives us much more flexibility in formatting and adding new content, as well as managing the old content. What do you think?

It’s only a sad day if you’re more concerned with who wrote the software than what it does.

    Hey Spicelands,
Hope everything is going well for you. I hadn’t talked to you in forever. How are you?

Not even using your photo gallery any more? That’s no good… cause I’m still using it (well, except for the fact that my website has been down for a year or more). Way back, I slightly modified your photo gallery software to work with word press. I have no idea what I did now, but I could send the code back if you guy would like. It may not work with the latest wordpress tough.

@John Stone Hey, John! We’re doing great. Tru’s 4 and Heidi will be 8 months tomorrow. Mike and I are both working at Digium now. How are you?

We switched to Picasa/PicasaWeb some time ago because of the desktop/web integration, facial recognition, and the cool AJAX/DHTML interface. We’re using a WordPress plugin that displays them on a WordPress page.
