This is day 0 with our new Robomow, the robotic lawn mower. This video shows me unpacking it and then an overview from the DVD that came with it. We’ve run the permiter wire and Robomow is now charging. Tomorrow I’ll post a video of it mowing the yard.

Our backyard is fenced in. Normally Seiko, our dog, is let outside multiple times a day to go out in the back yard and she is let back inside. We also have a camera pointed at our front door on a motion sensor. It normally lets us know if someon delivers a package and stuff llike that. Today, it caught someone, who was supposed to only be in the backyard, visiting our front door.

Would anyone like a brand new *super* small (9″ x 8″ x 2.5″) cute PC for $230? At this size it would fit just about anywhere. Need a PC for the kitchen? How about next to the TV in the entertainment center? I’ve priced out one of these PC’s and I want to build it and play with it. I couldn’t fly at lunch today so I let my friends borrow my small digital camcorder (Pure Digital). They decided to tape it to the bottom of one of their planes and shoot video The video above is that video.

A super nice fellow here in Huntsville gave me an RC plane transmitter, receiver, and servos. The same day I got a body for an old gas powered plane for $10. With those two things, I had a plane body that I could control all of the control surfaces with. I purchased a motor, speed control, and battery and assembled them all together. This video is the result … a frankenplane that we call “Big Bird”. Its not that big but its yellow so the name stuck.
